On Saturday, January the 21st 2017, a concert entitled Music4Life, was conducted in Brussels, in memory of Panos and Cressida, two beloved young people who grew up in Brussels.
Two talented young artists from Greece, Constantine & Lydia Boudounis, known as the "STRING DEMONS", entertained and surprised us with their cello and violin, percussion and drums. Their performance, was an extremely interesting combination of classical, traditional and rock music!
Eleni Chronopoulou, from Brussels, with her beautiful and distinctive voice interpreted Greek songs of the 50s and 60s accompanied on piano by Vassiliki Wiedenmayer.
The proceeds from the concert, together with the proceeds of this year’s 10th Bazaar in Athens, will be used to purchase a specialised nasal inhaler (nCPAP) for premature babies, - costing 16.000€ - for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at the University Hospital of Ioannina, Greece.
The performance was organised in cooperation with the "Lykeion ton Ellinidon - Brussels section" and the "Espace Periple”, together with the support of the Association of Epirotes in Belgium. We truly thank them for their support.
